New Tomorrows

Eight-Week Grief Education Series

New Tomorrows is a free grief support program offered by McLaren Hospice designed to assist those who have experienced grief and loss through peer support.

Participants meet in a small group setting for two-hour sessions over a period of eight weeks. During these sessions participants learn to recognize grief symptoms and learn techniques to help them address issues of grief. They also receive tools to deal with future loss and learn to apply the tools to help others identify grief. Following completion of the series, participants can even teach the interventions to others.

New Tomorrows provides a safe, supportive environment to share personal experiences and continuing issues related to loss and grief.
As the series ends, it is a positive experience to reflect on how participants have dealt with their issues and are beginning to find closure related to the grief process.

Sessions are available at different times and locations. To register, please contact the Bereavement Coordinator for your area.
