Allen Ernest Beebe

Allen E. Beebe 85, of Roscommon, formerly of Sterling Heights, New Baltimore, and Ludington, passed away on September 25, 2015 at the Bay Medical Care Facility. He was born in Ludington on January 3, 1930 to the late Ernest and Alfield (Berg) Beebe. Allen was united in marriage to Marianne Goslin on April 29, 1972 in Macomb County and together they shared forty-three years of marriage. He was retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Detroit and served in the U.S. Air Force. Allen and Marianne were lifelong members of the V.F.W. He loved to watch football, hockey and enjoyed hunting, fishing, movies, music, playing the piano, wood working, and was an artist. Allen is survived by his two daughters Lucy Church, of Florida and Denise Throntveit of Tennessee; two grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ila Seurynck, Helen Wood, Marge Goslin, Eva Goslin, Marie Goslin; brother-in-law, Patrick (MaryAnn) Goslin, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Allen was predeceased by his wife Marianne on August 1, 2015; his son, Gary and son-in-law, Jon; sister, Carol; sisters-in-law Dorothy Goebel, Felice Vermeersch, Evelyn Greyerbiehl, Jane Rhodes, and Constance Goslin; brothers-in-law, Aloysius, Harold, Keith, and Clarence Goslin, Leo Seurynck, Gary Goebel, Leland Wood, Frank Vermeersch, Phil Rhodes, and Wayne Greyerbiehl. Cremation has taken place and interment for Allen and his wife Marianne will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, on Wedsnesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hilltop Manor, Hospice Advantage, and the Bay Medical Care Facility. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
