Andrew Joseph Munch

Andrew Joseph Munch

Andrew Joseph Munch, IV, 39, of Essexville, our compassionate and caring son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor and is now riding on angel's wings. Andrew came into this world on a cold, blustery day in Bay City on November 14, 1974, the son of Joseph B. and Marsha (Collier) Munch. Andrew enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Timothy's Fine Cigars in Bay City, where he will be deeply missed. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, Jason and Doug and rough housing with his pal, Ruger. Andrew was a huge fan of St. Patrick's Day and also enjoyed cooking, gardening, duck hunting and helping his parents, especially on the computer and the remote control. He will always be deeply missed and forever loved. Andrew leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted father and mother, Joseph B. and Marsha of Essexville. He was the loving brother of Michele (Steve) Dulek, James (Jennifer Lamblin) Munch and Stephen (Stephanie) Munch. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Kaitlin and Grace Wojtalewicz, Jameson Munch and Georgia Rose Munch, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Andrew's family will be present to receive visitors at St. John the Evangelist Church, 614 Pine St., Essexville on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of his 11:00 AM Funeral Liturgy. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

    Larry and Mary Walraven

  3. Joe, Marsha and family, We are so sorry to hear about Andrew. He was such a sweet boy and friends with my sons Beau and Aaron. Sending love to you and your family. Your neighbor Pete and Mary Berlin

  4. Such sad news of Andrew’s passing. Andrew was our go-to guy when I was involved in the Religious Education program at St. Boniface. He offered so many hours of service with his smiling face and outgoing personality. Teachers and students loved him! Seeing him years afterward, nothing had changed. I could talk and laugh with him just like before. Never would have guessed that when I saw him a few weeks ago it was the last time. My thoughts and prayers are with Andrew’s family and friends during this difficult time.

  5. I have only known Andrew a couple of years. I moved here from out of town and he was one of the first people that I became friends with. I’ll never forget our Sundays hanging out having a nice evening cigar and drink. I’ll never forget walking into Tim’s and him asking how things were going no matter what was happening in his life. He would have given the shirt off his back if only to help anybody in need. You were a rare breed and I’ll miss you till I see you again.

  6. When the one you loved becomes a memory, its a treasure that lives in your heart forever. Sorry for your loss, prayers for the family.

    From Jackie Buczek and Sons

  7. Joe and family—

Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your son. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers at this deeply difficult time.

  8. Joe, Marsha and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Andrew was such a nice guy. He and Matt had many fun times together. He was always a pleasure to talk to when he was at our house.

    Harry and Marilyn Savage

  9. So sorry for your loss, we just learned of Andrew’s passing today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless

  10. James and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I was so surprised to hear about Andrew’s passing. I hope that time will help heal your heart and that you find comfort in knowing that his love and fond memories you have will always be with you. Thinking of you and your family at this sad time.
