Ann Marie Voss

ann voss
Ann Marie Voss, 52, of Bay City, our loyal and most generous wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister, aunt, and true friend went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Ann was born in Bay City on May 24, 1964, the daughter of Donald and Catherin (Yenior) Grocholski. Ann will forever be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and was the annual organizer of the family reunion. Her grandchildren were her true sunshine; the absolute light of her life. Ann was an avid pool player and had a great love of dogs, dragonflies, and camping (especially at Hardwood Lake). While at work, she met Mark Voss. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on June 19, 2008. In addition to her husband, Mark, Ann is survived by her father, Donald Grocholski; step-father, Richard Rabineau; children, Jamie (Racheal) Voss, Adam (Dawn) Voss, and Vanessa (Moe Dixon) LaPoutter. Ann was the supportive and unconditional loving Nana of eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her siblings, Cheri Holm, Kimberly Sibert, Steven (Jackie) Wickam, Jane (Spike) Elser, and Amber Clark; mother-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Voss; brother-in-law, Gary (Karen) Voss, Bill Voss, Steve (Tabetha) Voss; sister-in-law, Jane Ann (James) Decatur, along with many nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched in countless ways; numerous friends, and her dog, Angel. Ann was welcomed home to heaven by her mother, Catherin Rabineau and brothers-in-law, Jeff Holm and Bill Sibert. Ann’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of Ann’s 10:00 AM Tribute Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. 1. Oh, Ann, I know you are with your mom but sure wish you could have been with us for several more years. RIP, dear woman. Going to miss that smile.

  2. Ann was such a great friend coworker and neighbor! To know I will never be able to walk 4 houses down and have a conversation with you absolutely kills me! I am glad you’re no longer in pain, but doesn’t heal the heart! Waking to the news of your passing has affected so many people, I don’t think most people understand how much Ann meant to this community! I thank the lord above for allowing me to have the relationship we did! Your an enormous inspiration to me, as well as to so many others! We will see each other again! But for now, I’ll just remember what a generous and inspiring person you were! So thoughtful and always put a smile on my face! And the stuff we talked about will always be one thing I’ll look back on and cherish! We love you Ann!
