Carolina (Caridad) Cedillo Ramos, 80, of Bay City, our strong, caring, hardworking, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of February 13, 2019, with her family by her side. Carrie was born on August 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late, Santos and Juanita Reyes Cedillo. Carrie married Adolph Sanchez Ramos Jr. on November 19, 1955; together they shared nearly 40 years, six children, and countless memories. Sadly, Adolph predeceased Carrie in March 1995. Carrie was a wonderful homemaker, always taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and watching her Detroit Tigers. Carrie always put others before herself and made sure everyone was taken care of; she will be missed dearly. Carrie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Andrew Ramos, Roque Ramos, Alfred (Shelley) Ramos, Timothy (Fannie) Ramos, Deborah (Edward) Curler, and Lisa (Robert) Sheredy; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Nicole, Lisa, Timothy, Anthony, Kelsey, Brandon, Austin, Madison, Stephanie, Kevin, Becky, and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Brehanna, Michael, Aubrey, Briella, Gabriel, Mia, Carter, and Emily; siblings, Ernestina Romero, Domingo Cedillo, Vincente Cedillo, Juanita Reyna, Rose Turbeville, and Roberto Cedillo, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Carrie was welcomed home to heaven by her siblings, Fortunato Cedillo, Manuel Cedillo, Tomasa Gutierrez, Ramiro Cedillo, Santos Cedillo Jr., and Alfredo Cedillo. Carrie’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. On Monday, February 18, 2019 Carrie will be taken to All Saints Parish (St. James Church), 710 Columbus Ave., Bay City, where visiting will continue from 10:00 AM until the time of Carrie’s 11:00 AM Funeral Liturgy. Fr. Jose Maria Cabrera will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Colon Cancer Foundation. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.
