Lutz (King), Claudia M. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Age 87 years. Claudia Marie VanNorman was born June 11, 1923 in Arcadia, New York to John and Nettie (Johnson) VanNorman. She married Robert J. King. He passed away while serving his country during World War II. She later married Calvin Lutz. He passed away in 1993. Claudia was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school, was a librarian, and youth group leader at church. She enjoyed gardening and travel. Surviving are three children and their families; Robert J. (Rose) King of Saginaw, Beverly R. (Gordon) Laughlin of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul R. (Nancy) Lutz of Tuttle, OK, nine grandchildren; Kirk, Scotty, Jeff, Mike, Jason, Tia, Evan, Sara, and Rebecca, four great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and many friends. Claudia was preceded in death by her granddaughter Keri in September 2009. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Luther Manor Nursing Home for their care and kindness. Funeral service will take place 2PM Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. (South M-47). Rev. Kenneth Streeter will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 2PM to 8PM, and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service.
