Dagoberto "Bert" J. Mendoza, 51, of Pinconning, our genuine and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and true friend was born into eternal life on the evening of Saturday, November 7, 2015. Bert was born in Crystal City, Texas on January 6, 1964, the son of Gudalupe G. and Olga (Gonzalez) Mendoza. He resided in Asherton, Texas until moving to Michigan in 1966. While in school, he met the former Lori Johnroe. They dated, fell in love, and were eventually united in marriage on October 22, 1994. Bert was known for his love of working in the outdoors. His passion for hunting, fishing, music, and most importantly, his friends was true and unmatched. As a man who never knew a stranger, Bert will always be remembered as a wonderful people person. His memory will live on in the hearts of his friends and family for years to come. In addition to his parents, Guadalupe and Olga Mendoza, Bert is survived by his wife, Lori Mendoza; children, Amanda Mendoza and Nicole and husband, Seth Godley; granddaughter, Khloi Rodriguez; brothers, Rick Mendoza and Mike Mendoza, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
