Darlene Joyce LaVelle

Lavelle, Darlene Joyce Marathon, Florida, Saginaw, MI Passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013. Age 74 years. Darlene Joyce Schoults was born March 25, 1939 to George and Leona (Williams) Schoults. She married John LaVelle on April 23, 1967. He survives her. Darlene was a Junior Navigator, and was a Commander of the Flint Power Squad. She enjoyed world wide travel. Surviving besides her husband she leaves one son and one daughter; Scott (Teri Morris) Lynn, and Mrs. Daena (Dennis) Stark, 2 grandchildren Jasmine and Jennifer Stark, 1 great grandson Liam Williams, 2 sisters and 1 brother; Pat Walters, Kathy (Ed) Genske, and George Schoults, her sisterhood of many ladies, and many other loving family members and friends. Darlene was predeceased by a sister Ruth Ann Merlone. A memorial service will take place 11:30AM Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Old Town Christian Outreach center. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate.
