David Allen Peplinski, 57, of Essexville, our kind, goofy, helpful, and quick-witted husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on September 13, 2018. David was born in Bay City on December 22, 1960, the son of Marion and Eileen (Vermeesch) Peplinski. David graduated high school and went on to receive his Associates degree and contracting license. On April 27, 2002, he married the love of his life, the former Liezel Dizon. Throughout life David enjoyed fishing, telling stories, eating, and cooking – his seafood stuffed chicken couldn’t be matched. He worked at Huron Woods Nursing Home for over 20 years as the Director of Maintenance, the residents there loved him. David also enjoyed traveling to the Philippines with his wife; where he was affectionately known as “Big Joe.” David was known as a fixer - he could fix any and everything – if you needed something done, David was your guy. He never met a stranger and was very well like by everyone.
