David J. Johnson, 62, of Bay City, was born into eternal life on the evening of Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region. David was born in Bay City on December 19, 1952, the son of Walter and Orrissi “Naomi” (Ellis) Johnson. He attended St. John’s School and was a graduate of Garber High School. Known for his great sense of humor, David will be greatly missed by his entire family. He will always be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, sports of all types and spending time at the casino. David leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Orrissi “Naomi” Johnson and siblings, Barry and wife, Janice Johnson, Kathy and husband, Dale Walraven, Walter Johnson and fiancé, Lynette Atkins, Elaine Johnson and friend, David Maluse and his brother-in-law, Larry Andrews. He was the beloved uncle and friend to many. David was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Walter Johnson and sister, Louise Andrews. David's family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of his 11:00 AM Memorial Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. Hampton Twp. Mrs. Kathy Madziar will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
