David Lee Mieske I, 61, of Linwood, our adventurous and light-hearted father, son, brother, uncle, and devoted friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Heavenly Realm Adult Foster Care in Saginaw. Dave was born in Bay City on October 30, 1954, the son of Frederick Walter and Louise (Pfenninger) Mieske. He was united in marriage on July 12, 1998 to Judy Lazzaro, and she preceded him in death in 2006. Throughout life, Dave was known for his love of cycles, and was a dedicated semi-truck driver. He left a lasting impression on his entire family and friends, and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his mother and many family and friends. In addition to his wife, he was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Fred. Cremation will take place and a private family ceremony will be held. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice, especially Carlene and Cathleen for their compassionate care.
