David William Kraatz

Passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009. Age 55 years. David William Kraatz was born March 8, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to William and Mary Ellen (Thick) Kraatz. His mother predeceased him. David was a 1972 graduate of Buena Vista High School. He had been a member of the Buena Vista Fire Dept. He previously worked for R.H. Taylor Co, and currently was employed at the AuGres Marina. David was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in AuGres. Surviving are his father William (Verna) Kraatz, dear step brother and sister Jim and Patti, Uncles and Aunts Leonard (Shirley) Kraatz, Evelyn (late Robert) Kraatz, John (Linda) Matuzak, Cherryl Matuzak, Ray (Ruth) Barted and Ted (Joyce) Booth, and many other loving family members and many friends. Funeral and committal service will take place 7PM Tuesday evening at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home on S. Midland Rd. (M47). Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2PM to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial offering may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, St. John Lutheran Church of AuGres, or the charity of choice.
