Dawn Marie Milkowski, 65, of Bay City, our kind hearted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, May 7, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Dawn was born in Owenson, Ontario on January 15, 1950, the daughter of the late Donald and Maxine (Schultz) Lesnich. Her love was her family and she will be deeply missed. Dawn enjoyed spending time on Mackinac Island, collecting antiques, traveling, lighthouses and birds of all types. She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Stacie (Keith Gilbert) Milkowski and Chad Milkowski. She was the proud and adoring grandma of Brayden Milkowski and Avigale Gilbert. Dawn is also survived by her sisters, Linda Stevens and Christine Lesnich; close cousin, Melody Price and special family friend, Darlene Perry, many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was welcomed home to heaven by her sister, Beverly Warren, Edward and Erna Klopf and their daughter Cheryl Klopf. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
