Debra Lynn Russell, 51, of Bay City, our caring, kind, selfless, and most loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life unexpectedly on the morning of Monday, August 22, 2016. Deb was born in Bay City on June 1, 1965, the daughter of James and Deanna (Able) Dee. In addition to her parents, Deb will forever be missed by her devoted husband, Russ, whom she married on October 16, 1993. She was the most loving and supportive mother of Brandon Russell (Madison Fitzgerald) and Emilee Russell. Deb's legacy will live on in the heart of her sister, Sandra Dee-Russell, along with her father and mother-in-law, Franklin and Mary Russell, brothers-in-law, Scott and Stuart Russell; sister-in-law, Colleen (Kelly) Beson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved dog, Gracie Mae. Deb's family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Sharing of Memories at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. On Saturday, August 27, 2016, Deb will be taken to St. Catherine of Siena Parish (St. Maria Goretti Church), 2872 N. Euclid Ave., Bay City, where visiting will continue from 9:00 AM until the time of Deb's 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy. The Rite of Committal will follow in Floral Gardens Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed to wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

  1. i worked with debbie from the time she started until i left. she was always an upbeat girl, always smiling and happy. she never had a bad word for anyone, although i know she was under a lot of stress. i loved her like a daughter, what a tragic loss to all who knew her and her family. she will surly be missed by all, god bless her. sincerely, phil budry.
