Diane Marie Hodge, 52, of Bay City went home to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Sunday, August 10, 2014. Diane was born in Bay City on July 22, 1962, the daughter of Norman and Colleen (VanSumeren) Dupree. She was a 1980 graduate of Western High School and would go on to work as an account representative at F.P. Horak. Diane will forever be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking and baking, spending time at the casino, quality time at family gatherings and blowing bubbles with her grandson, Stephan. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Martin Hodge and his fiancé, Michelle Knaub, Heather Hodge and Sean McPeak. Diane was the loving grandma of Stephan Dickson and beloved daughter of Colleen and husband, Joe Turmell. Also surviving are her siblings, Debbie Rau, Tim (Maricris) Dupree, Dawn (Fred) Schwab, Dave (Monica) Dupree and Karen Withey, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Diane was welcomed home to heaven by her father, Norman Dupree; aunt, JoAnne Richter; significant other, Joe McPeak and dear friend, Don Chamberlain. Diane's family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of her 11:00 AM Memorial Ceremony at Bay Valley Christian Church, 2535 Wilder Rd., Bay City. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Bay Shores and McLaren Hospice for the compassionate care provided. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
