Dad Dad Dad… I sure miss you and caring for you. I know, that you are no longer miserable and tired but it don’t stop my eyes from doing what they do best. I feel like I’ve started another lake with them from my own life. You were never a burden to me and I will miss you deeply every day. Thank you so much for being my friend when I was broken from my own life… but mainly.. Thank you for all you tried so hard to do… We are all super proud of all your effort. You deserved to not suffer any longer and Im so happy that God noticed .. and sent someone to bring you home to him and your other family. I hope you like everything us kids have done to send you off to your final rest place. Hop on that Jet plane and don’t worry about anyone or anything back here.. I Got this <3 I don't want to... but I am a prodigy of you and your strength.
Rest in Heaven Dad... enjoy the love, comfort peace.. and safety up there.
I love you

So sorry to have missed Gene’s funeral. We had many good times at turkey camp and so many great years playing blooper ball together. He will be dearly missed. Jim Havercamp
Uncle Gene always had a twinkle in his eye and a snicker that told you he was up to something…and it was probably something fun! Remembering his sense of humor and caring heart will bring warm memories for years to come. I’m sorry to miss his Celebration of Life and hugging those who knew him best. Sending my love and God’s comfort,
