Fay Kerr, 82, of Essexville, our strong-willed, determined, and kind wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Fay was born in Onaway on July 16, 1936, the daughter of the late Pat and Genevieve Faircloth. Fay was a 1953 graduate of Onaway High School and was united in marriage to Kenneth Kerr on August 6, 1954. Most recently, Fay was employed as a dispatcher for the cable company, and as a traffic controller in the halls at the nursing home. In her younger years, “Miss Faysie” enjoyed bowling, fishing, and always remained a strong Detroit Tigers fan. Fay was always there for her family and friends. Her three granddaughters were the lights of her life, and she often enjoyed watching them play ball. She will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for years to come. Fay leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Kenneth and their four children: Jimmie Kerr, Deb (Eldon) Barney, Paul (Pam) Kerr, and Julie Clark; grandchildren, Michelle (Kevin) Nault, Kristy Kerr, and Ashley Kerr; great-grandchildren, Taylor & Hailey Nault; brothers, Doug Faircloth and Jack (Charlene) Faircloth; sisters, Janice (Duane) Sailor and Glenda (Jerry) Reese, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Fay was welcomed home to heaven by her brother, Frank “Gus” Faircloth; sister, Judy Faircloth, and sister-in-law, Elaine Faircloth. Fay’s family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until Fay’s 1:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N.
