Fidelis “Fifi” R. Willett, 96, of Essexville, was born into eternal life on the evening of Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities. Fifi was born on March 20, 1919, the daughter of the late William and Marie (Cummings) Foco. Fifi and her beloved husband, Norman “Ranny” Willett were the guiding lights of R & R Ready Mix, Triple R Trucking and Arquette Concrete. Her dedication to all she did, along with her meticulous attention to detail will live on for generations to come. Fifi was known for her love of animals, bingo, trips to the casino, card games, shopping and her Detroit Tigers. She was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish. Her faith guided her through the trials and tribulations of her life, and her memory will always be cherished by her three children, Dianne and husband, Pat Holbrook, Rick Willett and Russ and wife, Deb Willett. Fifi was the loving grandmother of Rob Poniatowski, Scott and wife, Terri Poniatowski, Holly and husband, Joe Greene, Darin Holbrook and his friend, Stacy, Patrick and wife, Vonnie Holbrook, Heidi Holbrook, Racheal Willett, Alex Willett and the great-grandmother of Kayla, Michael, Eric, Austin, Zachary and Brayden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Fifi was welcomed home to heaven by her husband, Ranny, who preceded her in death on September 23, 2000 and her sisters, Rita and husband, Jack Staley, Terry and husband, John Bratcher and many in-laws. Fifi’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil for the Deceased at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. On Friday, May 22, 2015, Fifi will be taken to St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 614 Pine St., Essexville, where visiting will continue from 9:00 AM until the time of her 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Thaddeus Parish or the Essexville-Hampton Lions Club.
