Frances Ann Brimmer, 63, of Bay City, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away while traveling in Dublin, Ireland on July 12, 2017. Fran was born in Bay City on March 15, 1954, the daughter of Raymond and Rose (Rytlewski) Pauwels. On December 1, 1990, Fran was united in marriage to the love of her life, David Brimmer. Fran and Dave were very involved in the foster care program, touching the lives of countless individuals through the years. Fran enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and children, who were the light of her life. Fran loved to stamp, take trips to the casino, and play euchre. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Brandon (Toni) Pauwels, Karlee (Mike) Hildinger, Kaitlyn (Garrett) Ballard; grandchildren, Alexandar and Liam Pauwels, David and Leah Hildinger, Circe and Laila Ballard, with Caia due in October 2017; mother, Rose Pauwels; brothers, George (Karen) Pauwels, Ronald (Cheryl) Pauwels, Donald (Debby) Pauwels, Rick (Beth) Pauwels; sisters, Margaret (Rick) Dubay and Ann Marie (Matt) Jones, along with may nieces, nephews, cousins, foster children, aunts, and uncles. Preceding her in death and welcoming her to the arms of the Lord are her father, Raymond Pauwels; husband, David, and her two brothers, Gerald and Raymond Jr. Fran’s family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of Fran’s 11:00 AM Tribute Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. followed by lunch at the AMVETS located at 520 N Pine Rd, Bay City. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. To the Family of Fran, Mike and I are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Grandmother, Mother, Aunt and Sister. We have Known Fran for many years through Marge (Rick) Dubay . She was such a delightful person, sweet and loved her family like no other. It was truly wonderful to have the pleasure of knowing her.. Prayers sent for family..
