Frank Ray Willett, 78, of Quanicassee, our determined and strong-willed husband, father, "Grandpa Frank," brother, uncle, and friend passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Bayfield Assisted Living. Frank was born in Flint on March 8, 1938, the son of the late Ray and Georgia (Smith) Willett. Throughout life, Frank was the devoted owner and operator of Frank's Gun Shop for over forty years. He was known for his strong presence and fair ways. Frank had a love and true talent for his music, which he passed on to two of his sons. On October 2, 2010, Frank was united in marriage to Wendy Tasker. In addition to his wife, Wendy, Frank leaves to cherish his memory his six children, Frank G. (Donna) Willett, Darrel (Paula) Willett, Ellen (Jerry) Haines, Arlyn (Desiree) Willett, Andrea (Karl) Muzer, and Barbara (Kirk) Appold; mother of his children, Karen Dzuba; step-daughter, Cassie (Lyle Kroczaljeski) Bouchard; grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Jerry Paul "JP," Jordan, Zachary, Jennifer, Justin, Darian, Kennedy, Austin, Kasey, Allison, Kasia, and Karmella; seven great-grandchildren with two on the way; brother, Robert (Nancy) Willett, and nieces, Leah Willett and Sue (Brian) Rayl. Frank's family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 11:00 AM until the time of his 2:00 PM Tribute Ceremony at North Euclid Church of God, 3430 N. Euclid Ave., Bay City. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

  3. To many memories to begin to mention here, all I can say is I grew up around this awesome family and hold that close as being a very great part of my child hood.

  4. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have known your dad since I was a little girl.. I grew up near by. He was a wonderful and kind man. I enjoyed his visits for coffee in the morning when I worked at Bay Shore. He will be greatly missed by many. I hope Arlyn is doing well… I keep him in my prayers to stay strong and win the battle.
