Greg Andrew VanSumeren

Greg VanSumeren, 50, of Munger, formerly of Essexville, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Greg was born in Bay City on January 8, 1968, the son of the late Edward and Donna (Noonan) VanSumeren. Greg was a 1986 graduate of Garber High School and was known for his love of fishing. He is survived by his siblings, Lynn (Brian) Taglauer, Lisa (Mark) Taglauer, and Gary (Marcia) VanSumeren. In addition to his parents, Greg was welcomed home to heaven by his brother, Mark VanSumeren. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Keeping the VanSumeren family in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We all know Greg was welcomed at heaven’s gates by Uncle Bud, Aunt Donna, Mark, Grandpa & Granny Great.

Very sorry to hear about Gregs passing. I only seen him around a few times since our days at Garber but considered him a good friend. He was one of the good guys and I’ll miss seeing him around. R.I.P.
