Jamie Lynn Freed, 48, of Hampton Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home. Jamie was born in Saginaw on June 9, 1965. She was united in marriage on August 9, 1997 to James “Jim” John Freed. Jamie was a proud grandma who loved to babysit and was known for always putting others before herself. A very hard-working, warm, loving and beautiful woman, Jamie’s legacy will live on for generations to come. Jamie leaves to cherish her memory her devoted and loving husband, Jim and two children, Angela Lynn and husband, Warren Hankish of Bay City and Brandon Jay Martin of Bay City. She was the loving and adoring grandma of Olivia Lynn Hankish. Jamie also leaves behind her mother, Loraine Martin-Walraven; siblings, Julie Martin, Toni and husband, Dan Letherer, Ron and wife, Cheryl Martin and Ryan and wife, Amy Mitchell; mother-in-law, Nola Freed; beloved dog, Teddy, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Jamie’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 10:00 AM until Jamie’s 11:00 AM Funeral Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Pastor Steve Schilke will officiate with graveside interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Jamie may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.skorupskis.com.
