  1. We are so sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. Janet was a very good person. She always had a smile on her face and laughed easily. She was very easy to talk with. Her family was a big part of her life. She just glowed when talking about her family and friends. She enjoyed having everyone over to her house for cards. When I went to her grandbaby’s shower, Janet made sure that I was introduced to all the family and friends there. She was so proud of her family and friends. She will be missed greatly. Rest in peace, my friend. You fought a hard battle, and now it is time to rest. We’ll miss you. We send our thoughts, prayers, and sympathies. With love, Debbie and Danny Carlton

  2. Jan and I had been friends for 50 years. She was a wonderful friend. When I had a family tragedy, I could count on her. She even thought of things that hadn’t occurred to me, to assist us. We had the same warped sense of humor. We could go to a movie and make the same comments in unison. I am going to miss her terribly until I see her again. I would like to think in spite of our tears, on another shore there is a celebration and excitement because of who just arrived.

  3. Rick, I am so sorry to hear about Jan and didnt’ get the opportunity to meet her. Glad you had many good years together. Thoughts and prayers to you all! Bonnie DeMetrick St.Onge

  4. Rick, I’m very sorry to hear this. No words ever seem to sound right when a loved one passes. Please know your in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. We were a long lost Cousin I found her threw some Genealogy research. She come to my rescue when I hit a dead end with the Dittmar’s and sent me in the mail a lot of useful information. She was a very Sweet Lady. Thank You Janet for touching my life.

  6. I’m sorry to read this. The world has lost a wonderful person. I only knew Jan for a short while. In that time I found her to be very kind and very generous. We shared a Fotomat booth together in the early 80’s and I have fond memories of her. I loved her sense of humor. RIP Jan.

  7. .Rick: I am very, very, sorry to hear about Janet. I’m sure that you had many memorable
times together. She was a very intelligent and likeable person, and I know that you will
miss her greatly. I haven’t seen you in about 10 years, so it is my fault for not contacting
you before this time. I wish I could change that but like I said it was my mistake. You
are a good friend, and you did a lot for me. I know that you will make it through this time,
My deep condolences, and maybe I can see you sometime.

  9. I’ve been lucky enough to be her sister-in-law for 15 years and to have loved and shared many great times with her. I loved her sense of humor, and love of life & family! We will always cherish fun times with her. In particular a family vacation which included Lake Tahoe together, dancing on the Lake dinner cruise to Emerald Island was magical. Such a fun and lovely time together. Jan loved and cherished her family and will always be loved and missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to Rick and her children, and grandchildren. We know she is in a better place now and can’t wait to be with her once again!
