Janice Kay Marden, 62, of Bay City, our caring, most wonderful, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on May 3, 2019 at the Toni & Trish House. Janice was born on July 26, 1956 in Saginaw, the daughter of Gwen (Minnis) Henderson. In 1984, Janice met Allen Marden; they dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage in November of 1990. She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises, dancing, reading, and rollerblading. Most of all, Janice loved spending time with her grandchildren; they were the light of her life. Janice had the biggest heart, and the brightest soul; her memory will live on for generations to come. Janice leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 28 years, Al; children, Thomas (Robin) Lintern and Holly Lintern; step-children, Deborah Marden, Patricia Dost, Joanne Marden, and David (Adrianna) Marden; grandchildren, Adrianna Lintern, Brayden Lintern, Bryson Lintern, Ian Lintern, Gibson Lintern, and Liam Lintern; step-grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Tricia, Derek, Cody, Jessica, Shelby, Alexis, Destiny, Montana, Tristan, and Brecklyn; step-great-granchildren, Robert, Darran, Deacon, Dakota, Kaiden, Brailyn, Xander, Christian, and Xavier; mother, Gwen Henderson; siblings, Patrick (Linda) Henderson, Stephen Henderson, Karen Shinevar, Randy Henderson, and Julie (Bill) Pohlman; sisters-in-law, Gale Marden and Grace Puravs, along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved dog, Dusty. Janice was welcomed home to heaven by her brother-in-law, Richard Marden, and sister-in-law, Claudette Riekels. Janice’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of her 11:00 AM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire McLaren Hospice team and the staff at Toni & Trish House for their compassionate care.     I’m am so sorry for the passing of your mother . She was full of life , funny and caring and so kind . If was a honor knowing Janis , I will miss her smiling face her sense of humor , she can make anyone laugh. One thing I know is Holly and Bryson have her smile , and sense of humor . Janis loved her Son Tom (by the way he has her eyes )and Holly , and her grandchildren . You all were her world . Prayers for strength to all of you-during in this time .
