Jean Anne Lichtenwald

LICHTENWALD, Jean Savage, 84, passed away on Monday, March 27th, to join her beloved husband, Irvin Henry Lichtenwald, who predeceased her. Jean was the daughter of Percy and Betty Savage of Saginaw, MI. She is survived by her brother, Dick Savage of Spring Hill, Florida and niece Mikayla Savage. She is also survived by her daughter, Debra Markewicz and her husband Tom of Defiance, Ohio; son Irv Lichtenwald and his spouse Steve Ripple of San Francisco, California; and son Jason Lichtenwald and his wife Jennifer of Deltona, Florida. She also leaves grandchildren: Bruce and Leah Markewicz of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jeremy and Jen Markewicz of Hillard, OH, Rebekah and Timothy Williams of Woodstock, Georgia, Amanda and Brandon Ellis of Deland, FL and Dylan, Catherine and Zaydin Lichtenwald of Deltona, FL. She also leaves ten great–grandchildren : Jacob and Joseph Markewicz, Luke, Matthew and Grace Williams, Benjamin, Tyler and Andrew Markewicz, and Logan and Hannah Ellis. Jean was a resident of Healthcare and Rehab of Sanford. She enjoyed writing poetry and newsletters, playing bingo, genealogy, and shopping. She was a member of the Baptist church for many years. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 29th, at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home, Orange City, Florida from 6 to 8 p.m., funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 30th at 11:00am. Reverend Madeline Luzinski will preside. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan.
