Rody, Jeanne M. - of Saginaw, age 62, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Jeanne was born February 10, 1954 in Saginaw to the late Vincent James and June Louise (Glick) Accetta. She married Thomas L. Rody on August 25, 1978. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2010. Jeanne loved to create beautiful cross stitch and needlepoint projects. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting and loved Tiger Baseball and Red Wings Hockey. Jeanne is survived by her two sons: James Rody of Saginaw, and Christopher (Krystal) Rody of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Grandson, James Rody; and Granddaughter, Payton Richardson. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother: Judy (Ted) Billy of Saginaw, Janet (Peter) Fuchs of Delray Beach, Florida, and Jim (Sally) Accetta, formerly of Bridgeport; a special cousin, Kay Hoffman; nieces; nephews; and other loving family members and friends. Jeanne was also preceded in death by her dear friend, Deb Kushon. Funeral service will take place at 11AM on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 Midland Road in Saginaw. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 1-5PM and 6-8PM, and on Thursday one hour before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Rody family.
