Lickly, Jerrie Lee - Loving mother and "Grammy" passed away peacefully Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the age of 72 years. Jerrie Lee Reil was born August 11, 1942 to the late Peter and Myrtle (Fetting) Reil. She married Dean L. Lickly May 27, 1962. He predeceased her August 14, 2014. Jerrie was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Surviving are her daughter, Susan (Jerry) Owens; her son, Charles (Melissa) Lickly and their son, Mitchell; her sister, Shirley (late Jim) Fernbach; and many other loving family members and friends. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate the funeral service at 11AM Thursday, September 18, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Road. Interment will take place at Nelson Cemetery. Friends are welcome to gather with the family at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Road (S. M-47) on Wednesday, September 17 from 3PM until 8PM and at the church on Thursday one hour before the service. Memorial offerings are suggested to Gift of Life, 3861 Research Park Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108. So very sorry to see the death of my dear friend Jerrie and favorite St. Luke’s Volunteer on T.V. We spent many hours together at the Front Desk and enjoyed many silly memories. We pulled our husbands into this friendship and enjoyed going to dinner and letting them tag along. Friendships go on forever even when at times you loose contact.
