JoAnn Loehr, 81, of Bay City, formerly of Saginaw passed away on February 21, 2014. JoAnn was born in Saginaw on July 19, 1932. She attended Saginaw High School and was united in marriage to Allen Loehr, who preceded her in death on November 10, 2011. A wonderful and devoted mother, JoAnn will always be remembered for her kind and loving ways. Throughout life, JoAnn always remained strong willed and determined, having survived a battle with lung cancer. She loved to read, watch basketball and spend time with those she loved. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Allen and wife, Nancy Loehr of Dallas, Texas, Linda and husband, George Burke of Macomb and Annie and husband, Jeff Isackson of Byron Center. JoAnn also leaves behind her granddog, Chloe Ann Burke and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of fifty-five years, JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Manning and Thomas and Leora "Mutzi" Manning, as well as her brother, Donald. A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 7475 E. Holland Rd., Saginaw. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp.
