  1. Marilyn, Louise, Bill and family you have my deepest sympathies on Joanne’s passing. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

  2. My deepest sympathy to Joanne’s family. I was so privileged to have her visit me just 2 and 1/2 weeks ago here in Bloomington, IN. We had pleasant conversations and simply enjoyed being together. I remember so fondly the trip that she and I made to California to attend a friend’s wedding a few years ago. She was a most special lady – kind and considerate. I will miss her. Rest in Peace, Joanne.

  3. So sorry. Joanne was my housemate during her last semester at CMU. Although we lost touch many years ago, I had recently tried to “search” for her. Looking at my handful of pictures from those days brought smiles.

  4. Saddened to hear of Joanne’s passing. We were friends for many years. Back in the 80’s we worked together in the Buena Vista School District. We had lots of fun times. After a time when we were part of another phase of life we connected again and Joanne came to help us out in our business. We shared lots of laughs during those years. After that we visited several times. Joanne was the kind of friend with whom you could start chatting again even if you had not seen her for several years. She was a blessing to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Rest now, dear friend.
    Theresa Pawlowski

  5. Joanne was a friend and member of the Timbertown Dollology Club for a number of years. She always had a positive attitude and a ready smile. Her strength and determination in dealing with her illness were admirable. We appreciated and enjoyed her companionship. We’ve lost a wonderful person. Our condolences and prayers go out to her family, we are so sorry for your loss, we will truly miss her.
