Joanne Lee (Cline) Laskowski, 66, of Hampton Twp., our caring and loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 29, 2017 at her parent’s home in Ohio. Joanne was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on June 6, 1951, the daughter of Phillip and Mary Ellen (Nelms) Ditch. Joanne graduated high school and went on to obtain a degree in chemical engineering at Ferris State University. Joanne met Paul “Texas Ski Karaoke” Laskowski through mutual friends while performing karaoke. They dated, fell in love, and on October 3, 1999, Joanne and Paul had an intimate ceremony in Mio. Joanne enjoyed the casino, painting, bingo, karaoke, and fishing. In addition to Paul and her parents, Joanne leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Lynnette (Kevin) Moore and Rochelle Salla; grandchildren, Caitlynn and Elizabeth Moore, and Ashley Messenger; siblings, Helen (Jack) Kunz and Phillip (Linda) Ditch Jr.; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Tom) Miller, Helene (Michael) Nast, Judy Adams, and Carol Laskowski, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Joanne was welcomed home to heaven by her first husband, Ronald Gerald Cline, and her brother-in-law, Larry Laskowski.  Joanne’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the time of her 7:00 PM Celebration of Life at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

  1. Lynnette and family, We were so sorry to hear about your mom! We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the service for Joanne because we will be out of town Friday and Saturday, not returning until Sunday evening. If there is anything that we can do, please do not hesitate to contact us. Again, we are very sorry.
