Jonathan Dombrowski

jonathan dombrowski
Jonathan, 24, of Bay City, our devoted and awesome father, son, grandson, soulmate, brother, nephew, cousin and friend passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 following a brief, but courageous illness. Jon was born in Saginaw on March 23, 1990, the son of Gregory Dombrowski and Cynthia Larsen. He was a 2008 graduate of John Glenn High School and will forever be remembered for his loving and free spirit. Jon enjoyed mud bogging, bike racing, camping and fishing. His excellent work ethic was an inspiration to those he worked with at DeMitchell Construction. Jon always put others before himself. His wonderful smile that would light up the entire room, along with his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come. In addition to his parents, Jon leaves to cherish his memory the light of his life, his pride and joy; his son, Hayden. He was the loving soulmate of Morgan Morris and cherished grandson of Gayla and husband James “Papa” McMinn, Mary Price and the great-grandson of Joyce Leppek. Jon is also survived by his aunts and uncles, David Dombrowski, Teresa Dombrowski and her companion, Brad Freese, James and wife, Tina Price, Stacia and husband, Jake DeMitchell, Liz and husband, Rick Hanley, Jerry Price, Catherine and husband, Tim Dinghy, Josh and wife, Melissa Price, Caroline Price and her fiancĂ©, George Johnson, Andrew Price; half-brother, Lars Larsen; best friend since childhood, Matt Meisel, along with countless cousins and friends. Jon was welcomed home to heaven by his paternal grandfather, John Dombrowski and maternal grandfather, Frederick “Fat Papa” Price. Jon’s family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of Jon’s 11:00 AM Celebration of Life at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so saddened to hear of Jon’s passing. God Bless Hayden who loves his daddy. I will remember Jon for helping my Dad with things my dad was unable to do. To the family, may you find comfort in the memories you have with Jon. I pray for peace and comfort to you all at this time.

  2. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss…our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
    Mr. & Mrs. Matt Brenay

  3. Jonathan you always lit up a room with your smile. We will always remember you.
    Love Kyle & Denise Bachman

  4. I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Johnathan when he was just a little tike with so much energy. My prayers go out to the entire family.

  5. My prayers, sympathy and condolences to Jon’s family!! I wanted to say that Jon was such a wonderful man. I am so sorry for his family’s loss. He was a fine man and had the best smile I have ever saw. His personality was care free. The Geneseo’s children: Gary, Greg, and Nicole had many great memories and fun filled events with him at our home as they all grew up throughout the years. If tears could build a stairway we would climb right up there and hug him one last time.

  6. Dear Cynde, Sending this note with sympathy. Wishing you times of peace and love’s memories.

When my dad died this thought describes how much he meant to me. . .

It goes like this . . and it still means as much now as it did when he left us.

“Jonathan you alone give meaning to our being together and our being apart.”

Love and hugs to you and Lars, Nyla

  7. Greg, We are so sorry for the loss of your son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

  8. “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose…All that we love deeply becomes a part of us”~ Helen Keller. Sending you much love during this difficult time. Steve, Nicole, Ben and Larissa
