Josephine "Josie" Petrina Ondish, 86, of Bay City, formerly of Pittston, Pennsylvania was born into eternal life on the afternoon of Saturday, October 26, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region. Josephine was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on January 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Melchiora (Provenzano) Mantione. She attended Pittston High School and graduated in 1944. Josie was a retired garment worker and a member of the ILGWU. She was also a parishioner of the former St. Rocco's Church in Pittston. Josie was united in marriage to Andrew Ondish of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania in 1958. Surviving are her two children, Andrea Ondish of Bay City, Michigan and Andrew (Michele) Ondish of Shavertown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Andrew of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Nicholas and Jacob of Shavertown, Pennsylvania; sister, Lucy Murtha of West Pittston, Pennsylvania and brother, Charles and wife, Betty Mantione of Pittston, Pennsylvania, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Josie was welcomed home to heaven by her husband of forty five years, Andrew; brothers, Vincent, Anthony, Antonio Richard and Salvatore Agustus Mantione; sisters, Onofria "Nellie" and Christina Rose Mantione and Mary Ferrara, along with her niece, Lucie Jo Murtha. Josie will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Pittston, Pennsylvania. A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Marello Parish (Mt.
