Larry Otis "Whitey" Goss, 77, of Lupton, our loving and hardworking husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly on the morning of Sunday, July 24, 2016. Whitey was born September 13, 1938, in Pontiac to the late Arthur Goss and Zora (Hecker) Guigar. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a GM retiree. Whitey is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy (O'Connor) Goss; children, Priscilla (John) Driscol, Toni (Walter) Goodrich, Grover Goss and Shane Goss; brother, Brian Goss; brothers-in-law, Don (Cindy) O'Connor and Jeff (Fiona) O'Connor; aunt, Faith Greer; and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, stepchildren, stepbrothers, stepsisters and so many friends. In addition to his parents, Whitey was welcomed home to heaven by his brother, Steven Goss. A Memorial Ceremony in honor of Whitey will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Rose Township Hall, 3380 Lupton Rd., Lupton, MI. Pastor David Wolfe will officiate. The family is encouraging those with memories of Whitey to share them at the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. So sorry for the loss of Whitey my memories of him which there are so many but the ones that stand out the most are how he was always so inviting and loving for my kids and there interest in fishing…..he was always willing to let them fish his lake and use his boats ……….not to mention he was a dear friend to me…….he will forever be in my thoughts god speed………………..
