  1. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Leroy. We always had great conversations, as he was such a knowledgeable and interesting person. It was a pleasure to know him. Our heartfelt condolences to all of you at this time

  2. Leroy is a hero. He invested the last summer of his life in helping to develop new treatments for cancer. He donated his precious time when time was short, and spent his last bits of energy when he had none to spare, allowing doctors at U of M to try experimental drugs currently under development. Leroy helped pave the way for future discoveries, in the hope of benefitting all those who follow his path. We are forever grateful for his efforts & sacrifice.
