Lucille G. LaFrenier

Passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013. Age 85 years. Lucille Herring was born June 2, 1927. She married James E. LaFrenier April 30, 1949. He predeceased her Oct. 15, 1977. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and its bible study, Adam's Rib, and the sewing and quilting group. She also loved doing puzzles. Surviving are two sons and one daughter; James (Kathy) LaFrenier, Gary (Renee) LaFrenier, and Leanne (Alan) Miller, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two expected great grandchildren, two sisters and one brother; Connie (Arnold) Schultz, Carol Kolhagen and Warren Herring, and many other loving family members and friends. Lucille was predeceased by her brother-in-law Gerald Kolhagen.Funeral service will take place 11AM Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5250 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Homer Mosley, Jr. will officiate with entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends are welcome to gather with the family at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. (S. M-47) on Friday from 2-4PM, and 6-8PM, and at the church on Saturday one hour before the funeral. Memorial offerings are suggested to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the charity of choice.
