Lucille M. Cunningham, 93, of Essexville, our caring and loving mother, grandma, "GG," sister, and aunt was born into eternal life on the evening of Monday, January 11, 2016 at her daughter's home. Lucille was born in Hampton Township on February 20, 1922, the oldest daughter of the late George and Anna (Jacobs) Stagray's twelve children. She married Ralph Cunningham, who preceded her in death. Throughout life, Lucille was dedicated to the Stagray Plant Farm and enjoyed occasional trips to the casino, where she could be found on the video poker machine, or waiting for the next Bingo. Lucille leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Karen (Dale) Colby of Stanwood, Janet Oswald of Lansing, and Barbara (Paul) Owczarzak of Bay City, and her grandchildren, Brian Ratajczak and Ashley Owczarzak. Lucille was the loving "GG" of A'mia Owczarzak and is also survived by her siblings, Norma "Dolly" Collier of Essexville, Ronald Stagray of Florida; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Stagray and Regina Stagray, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith Ratajczak, seven brothers, and two sisters.
