Lynne Roberts Morley, 64, of Essexville, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Friday, May 3, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side. Lynne was born in Bay City on September 28, 1948, the daughter of the late Norbert "Bud" and Marjorie (Roberts) Hages. Lynne was a 1966 graduate of Bay City Central High School and on July 11, 1992 was united in marriage to her loving husband, Les Morley, who survives. Lynne worked for thirty years at The Drug Shoppe Pharmacy and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She also enjoyed reading, going up north for girl's getaways, the annual family trip to Tawas, early morning walks, the casino and boating. Lynne's love for her family, especially her grandchildren, will always live on. After a long, courageous battle, Lynne is finally healed and at peace. In addition to her husband, Les Morley, Lynne leaves behind her children, Bradley and wife, Gwen Neering and Kelly (Brandon Sutkowi) Neering. She was the proud and adoring Grandma Lynnely of Carter, Sopheana and Lukas Neering. 6. She was an amazing women who had so much love and kindness to share. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this difficult time.

  7. Although I didn’t know Mrs. Morley, I wish to send my deepest condolences to the family. I know how difficult it is to lose someone close in death, for I have lost several friends and family members. Yet there’s something that always brought me comfort that I wanted to share with you.

The one thing we want most when we lose someone is to be able to see that person again. The Bible promises such a thing is not a far-fetched dream. Notice the promise from Jehovah God that Jesus made clear, at John 5:28, 29: “Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” Yes, soon all those asleep in the grave, including Lynne, will be resurrected to life on a beautiful new paradise earth. There you will be able to welcome Lynne back in perfect health! What an exciting prospect that is!

The Bible’s promise is very comforting, and we can put faith in the assurance that it will become a reality. Yet, understandably this is still a very difficult time for your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Again, deepest sympathies in your time of loss.

  8. So sorry to hear of your loss. Lynne and I were classmates and I will always remember her as a fun loving happy person.
