Marion Rose Burke

Passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009. Age 86 years. Marion Rose Evans was born February 23, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio to Raymond Spencer and Rena Ann (Rupp) Evans. She married Harold J. Burke on October 23, 1945. They shared 63 years together. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2008. Mrs. Burke attended Ames United Methodist Church in Saginaw. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed gardening and collected antiques. She was a resident of the Wescourt Community. Surviving are a brother David (Mary Lou) Evans, a special friend Ruth Tenney, and many other loving friends. Inurnment will take place 9:30 AM Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan under the care of Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home of Saginaw.According to Marion's wishes, no services will take place.
