Nancy L. Ball

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at home surrounded by her family on June 28, 2011 following a lengthy illness. Age 63 years. Nancy Louise Reimers was born September 29, 1947 in Saginaw to the late Laverne and Virginia (Dillon) Reimers. She married Michael Douglas Ball January 6, 1967 and enjoyed 44 years of happy marriage. He survives her. After graduating from Saginaw High School in 1965, she worked 27 years with Michigan Bell and retired in 1998 as an operator. Nancy was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church in Saginaw.Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Michael (Karen) Ball and Jason Ball; two grandchildren, Jameson Ball and Caroline Mrowka; one brother, William (Penny) Reimers; and many special nieces and nephews.The family extends a special thanks to Pastor Michael Hahn and Avalon Hospice of Flint.Funeral service will take place 11AM Friday, July 1, 2011 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate. Interment will take place in Cook Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to visit at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 South Midland Rd. (S-M47), on Thursday from 2 - 8PM, and at the church on Friday one hour before the funeral.
