HARDY, Patricia Ann - of Saginaw, age 78 died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Independence Village in Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Reitz-Herzberg Funeral Home. Rev Lee Austin officiating. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-8 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation. Patricia was born March 1, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Anthony and Mildred (Schwartz) Hartman. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1957. On November 30, 1957 she married Donald Hardy and he preceded in her death in 2014. Prior to her retirement, Patricia worked as a Teacher’s Aide in the Saginaw School District. She also served on the school board for 22 years. Patricia enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling and arts and crafts. She also liked to tell stories and play cards. Surviving are: Children, Kimberly (David) Wing, Mark (Laurie) Hardy Sr., Jeffrey Hardy, Norman (Catherine) Hardy; Grandchildren: Mark Hardy Jr., Christopher Wing, William Hardy, Anthony Hardy; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Charles (Jean) Hartman; Sister: Jacquelynn (Edmond) Villareal.
