Patricia Anne Meehleder, 82, of Essexville, our beautiful, extraordinary, brave, proud, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of April 30, 2019 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Patty was born on December 29, 1936 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank L. and Marie F. (Howey) McGrath. Patricia was a Ms. International Contestant and the first secretary of the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame. She belonged to the Glee Club, Equestrian’s Club, the American Gaelic Club, and Women’s Auxiliary.  Those who knew Patricia will always remember her love of calligraphy, writing letters to her family and friends, going to bazaars, playing the piano and cello, and how proud she was of her Irish heritage. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren – never missing a basketball or baseball game. She had the most beautiful soul and will be missed dearly. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Goodbye dear friend and neighbor.
Deepest Sympathy and Love to the entire Meehleder Family.

  2. Michael and Michelle,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family now and in the days and weeks ahead. May the memories of better days sustain you now and always.

    Our Best,
    Russ and Debbie Nation

  3. Dear Mike and family,
What a beautiful description of your mother and her life. She sounds like an extraordinary person, a blessing to have had as a Mom. My condolence on one of life’s greatest gifts and losses – our moms.
    Phyllis Karl

  4. I am forever connected to your family since I spent so much time at the McGrath household growing up. Pat was the lovely older sister who seemed so worldly with her downtown job. I seemed to remember an Austin-Healy(?) parked in their driveway at one point. Was it Pat’s? I remember the family’s thrill when she married Larry and, best of all, when this family got their first grand baby! I ran into Pat over the years (many times with Michelle) and enjoyed lively conversations. My condolences go out to all of you on the loss of Pat to your family. May her memory live on.
