Sending prayers. I remember Mrs. Vegter well as a teacher who always went the extra mile for her students. She was my typing and shorthand teacher at Handy.
I had Mrs Vegter as a typing teacher in 1961-1962 at T.L. Handy High school.
She was one of my favorite teachers and I did very well in her class. Typing 100-120 words per minute.
Mrs. Vegter was one of my favorite teachers at Handy High in the late 1960’s. My shorthand was great thanks to her (whatever happened to shorthand??), and I really needed her help with typing (still do), which thanks to her became an invaluable tool for my work life. She and my mother were friends, and I saw her often over the years. She will be missed.
