Renee Yvonne Yuen

November 7, 1965 ~ November 3, 2023
Renee Yvonne Yuen, 57, of Bay City, our kind and compassionate mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023 with her family by her side.
Renee was born on November 7,1965, the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Curler) Bezotte. Renee graduated from Midland High School. During high school, through Big Blue Marble, a pen pal program, she met Marco Yuen. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel to Hong Kong, where she immersed herself in teaching English to eager young minds. Enjoying the adventure, later her and Marco settled in Hong Kong and were married.
Returning to her roots, Renee pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), driven by her innate desire to care for others. She embarked on a selfless journey at Green Gables and Rose Cottage Adult Foster Care, dedicating her days to improving the lives of those under her compassionate care. Renee’s unwavering devotion to helping others was a testament to the beautiful soul she possessed.
Outside of her noble vocation, Renee found joy in the simplest of pleasures. With a flair for fashion, she delighted in shopping, always ensuring her stylish presence lit up any room. Her warm and outgoing nature allowed her to effortlessly connect with others; she truly was a social butterfly who brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her infectious laughter touched the lives of those around her.
Renee leaves to carry on her legacy her children, Chandler and Mason; their father, Marco Yuen; siblings, Gail Ronquist, Robert Bezotte, and Christina Bezotte; nieces, Marcella Ronquist, Laura Bezotte, and Debra Stebleton; nephews, Ryan, Christopher and Andrew Ronquist; great-niece, Aria Ronquist; her favorite furry companions, Maggie and Seymour Bear Butts, and special friends, Sheri Shields and Sue Bromberg. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Warner Bezotte.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821. N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp., between Ridge & Center. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Danny Williams, R.N. and Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
