Robert "Bob" Lee Lewis, 66, of Bay City died Monday, May 19, 2014, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. He was born December 1, 1947, in Genesee, the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Hudson) Lewis.
Bobwas always tinkering with cars and building things. He worked in the automotive industry for many years and was the manager of AutoZone on Wilder in Bay City. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He loved to spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. Bob will be remembered as a kind and hard-working man, and he will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
On December 3, 1998, in Bay City, Bob married Evelyn Ann Knochel who survives him. He is also survived by: his sons, Rod Lewis and Scott Lewis; several grandchildren; his siblings, Ron (Julie) Lewis, Ralph Lewis, Rick (Lisa) Lewis, and Lisa; his step-children, Kelly (Mike) Schaefer and Scott (Tina) Schoerner; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry (Lou Ann) Knochel, Ronald Knochel, Linda (Norm) Andrjewski, Marlene Roach, Robert (Barb) Schafer, Clifford (Jackie) Knochel, Diana Whyte, Carol (Allen) Hayward, Dennis (Jamie Hartson) Knochel, Donald Knochel, and Tammy (Rod Cliff) Upton; and his faithful dog, Boo.
Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Lana LEwis; his father and mother-in-law, Harold and Doris Knochel; his sisters-in-law, Karen Dore and Gloria Schafer; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Wright, John Dore, and Wayne Roach.
No services will be held at this time.
