Ronald Lee Krabbe, 59, of Munger, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Ron was born in Saginaw on September 8, 1954, the son of Otto and Nina (Parmenter) Krabbe. Ron graduated with the Class of 1973 from Reese High School and was a dedicated and faithful employee of EBY-Brown. He was a member of Trinity-St. James Lutheran Church and enjoyed motorcycles, tractors, welding and volunteering within the Munger community. Ron never knew a stranger and was always quick with the jokes. His infectious smile, along with his funny and caring nature will live on in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come. Ron is survived by his father, Otto Krabbe, Jr. and children, Roxanne and husband, Cary Defino of Caro and Daniel and wife, Julia Krabbe of Munger. He was the loving Grandpa Ron of Jeana, Sophia and Joshua. Ron also leaves behind his three sisters, Diane and husband, Ed Weismiller, Ruth and husband, Paul Roe and Karen and husband, Barry Achenbach, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was welcomed home to heaven by his mother, Nina and wife, the former Diane Gross. Ron's family will be present to receive visitors on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Pastor Theodore E. Voll will officiate. Private interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery. In memory of Ron, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.skorupskis.com.

    Truly going to miss you man. Although it happened way too soon the Good Lord brought you home for a reason. You lived life on this earth your way, the only way you knew, through good times and bad times, you were always there for your family and one way or another made us laugh. Now your on the cleanest ride of all and the bags won’t leak either. So I guess when we meet again I can’t give you any Krapp about wash’n your bike. Give my Mom and Big Al a hug.

  13. When I met you, you called me Half Pint and that was my name from then on. I remember on bike rides you would always try to get me to race you and the first time you seen me not wearing my helmet you lectured me out of concern. I will miss your smile and your big heart. RIP buddy
