Passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015. Age 74 years. Ronald LeRoy Parker was born September 3, 1940. His parents were Fred and June (Oberson) Mueller. He married Alyce Frost on Sept. 19, 1964. She predeceased him in 1999. He later married Tarry Hall on May 31, 2003. She survives him. Mr. Parker was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and served as Deacon there. Ron served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963, in Korea and at the White Sands Missile Base. He worked for General Motors as a floor inspector. Ron loved golfing, cards, and the casino, but especially his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife he leaves his children; Stephen Parker, Jennifer (Javier) Carranza, Nancy (Joe) Spleet, and Mitchell Hall, nine grandchildren; Alex, Andrew, Angelica, Alicia, Javier Jr., Davi, Benjamin, Samuel, and Elizabeth, and one great grandchild Alex, Jr. Also surviving are one brother, Bill (Kendra) Mueller, and many other loving family members and friends. Rev. David Naumann will officiate the funeral service at 12 Noon Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1020 Court St., with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to call on the family at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. on Monday from 1PM to 8PM, and at the church on Tuesday one hour before the funeral. Memorial offerings are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Reverence Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
