Ruth Ann Niedzielski

ruth ann niedzielski
Ruth Ann Niedzielski, 90, of Bay City, our amazing, creative, sometimes spunky, and most devoted mother and grandmother was born into eternal life and reunited with her soul mate, Jerry, on the evening of Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Brian’s House. Ruth was born in Dearborn on February 18, 1929, the daughter of the late Russell Dewey and Ruth May (Casey) Seaman. After a blind date, Gerald “Jerry” Niedzielski asked Ruth to marry him just three days later. They were united in marriage on July 5, 1947, celebrating 71 years of faithfulness until his passing on November 17, 2018. Ruth was the matriarch of the family, and always led by example. She raised a wonderful and caring family; always instilling the values of caring for one another and coming together through both the good times, and the bad. Known for her creative ways, Ruth enjoyed baking, puzzles, singing, dancing, and in her younger years, she was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed crocheting, bowling, golf, and participating in T.O.P.S. A natural people person, Ruth also worked as a waitress for several years. The most amazing Wonder Woman will be deeply missed, yet lovingly remembered for generations to come.Ruth leaves to carry on her legacy, her three children: Mike (Jackie) Niedzielski, Russ (Gizella) Niedzielski, and Louise Anderson. She was the most loving and supportive grandma of Jerry (Bambi) Niedzielski, Deanna (Jason) Jean, Wendy (Barrett) Neely, Heather (Paul) Rancort, Eric Peterson (Tina), Holly (Mark) Huss, and Timothy Peterson (Nicole). Ruth’s memory will live on in the hearts of her great-grandchildren, Brittnee, Jeramiah, Amani, Zachary (Sara), DJ (Britt), Pedro, Danyele, JayJay, Anthony, Austin, Logan, Connor, Cameron, Silas, Forrest, Abbie, Austin, Dylan, Londynn, Mo, and Piper; former daughter-in-law, Deborah Cole; great-great grandsons, Leon and Cruz; sister-in-law, Barb Niedzielski, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Ruth was welcomed home to heaven by her sister, Dolores (Howard) Gum, and in-laws, Alphonse Niedzielski, Jr., Arthur Niedzielski, Eleanor (Norman) Ebel, and her father and mother-in-law, Alphonse and Martha (Rubis) Niedzielski. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Ruth’s grandson, Eric, for being grandma’s #1 “Maintenance Man,” and to her daughter, Louise, and granddaughter, Deanna, for all of their love and care over the past year, along with the staff of Brian’s House, 4 East at McLaren Bay Region (especially Ruth’s N.P., Justin Main), and Don of The Care Team Hospice for their amazing care as well. Ruth’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N.
