Ruth Easlick

Easlick, Ruth Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 21, 2012. Age 82 years. Ruth Nelson was born January 11, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan to Frank E. and Martha E. (Vollmer) Nelson. She married Robert M. Easlick on October 9, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1988. Mrs. Easlick was a member of Hopevale Church in Saginaw. She retired from Catherine's Dress Shop in 1990 after 15 years of service. Surviving are two daughters and one son; Annie Pappas, Janet (Fred) Bingham, Robert Jr. (Debra) Easlick, nine grandchildren; Donald (Amy) Pappas, Christopher (Cindy) Fink, Patricia (Todd) Steadman, Shannon Conklin, Ryan Bingham, Kyle Bingham, Michele (Zack) Easlick-Irvine, Mallorie Easlick and Jason Easlick, three great grandchildren; C-Jay Boyd, Jillian Pappas, Banjo Irvine, one sister Madeline, and many other loving family members and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters; Stan, Earl, Jerry, William, Ed, June, Elaine and Betty. Funeral service will take place 11AM Wednesday July 25, 2012 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd (S-M47). Pastor Michael Garner will officiate with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeland. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday July 24th from 12 noon to 3PM, and 5PM to 8PM, and one hour before the funeral on Wednesday. Memorial offerings are suggested to The Saginaw City Rescue Mission, Hopevale Church, or VNA Hospice.
