Sandra Aileen Narvaiz, 68, of Bay City, our caring, compassionate and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Toni & Trish House surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born in Goodrich, Michigan on April 15, 1945. She graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1963 and would go on to care for others as a C.N.A. Throughout life, Sandy was known for her love of family, great sense of humor and honest and trustworthy nature. She enjoyed scrap booking, dancing, collecting porcelain dolls, music and most of all, spending time with her family. Left to cherish Sandy's memory are her children, Kelley and husband, Kenneth Wilson of Essexville and Eric and wife, Tammey Greenwood of Sturgis. She was the loving Grandma "Nim" of Marlowe and husband, Haider Syed of Atlanta, GA., Marissa Wilson of Kalamazoo and Savanna and Anthony Greenwood of Sturgis. Sandy also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Zainab Syed (and one on the way); beloved soul mate, George V. Martinez of Bay City; loving sister, Marcia Sandor of Oxford; brother, Gary Sholes of Bay City and father, Clarence Smithling of Oxford. Sandy was welcomed home to heaven by her mother, Virginia Smithling; brother-in-law, Terry Sandor and siblings, Margie Coffey and Maynard Smithling.
