Shirley Carol Griebe, 72, of Hampton Twp., our giving, loving, and caring sister, aunt, and friend passed away on June 21, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit with her family by her side. Shirley was born on November 10, 1946 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Albert Griebe and Ellen G. (Rich) Keyser. Shirley graduated from Bay City Central and went on to obtain her associates from Delta College in accounting. Shirley worked as a bookkeeper until 1993 and then retired from Liberty Living in 2016 working as an administrative assistant. Shirley enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the casino. She was truly the matriarch and rock of her family. Her loving soul and giving ways will be remembered for generations to come. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, her loving siblings, Sandra (Larry Shackley) Pitts, Marilyn (Terry) Wackerle, Kathy (Troy) Crosby, and Morgan Griebe. She was the most loving “Shi-shi” to her many nieces, nephews, and great-nephew. Shirley loved the time she was able to care for her very special little girl, Sophia Curler. Her memory will live on in her many cousins and friends. Shirley was welcomed home to heaven by her parents, Albert (Pat) Griebe and Ellen (Donald) Keyser, and her siblings, Lynda Keyser, Albert Griebe, and Cindy Griebe.
